Golfers - 3 Things You Didn't Know You Struggle With!

Clickbait title? Kind of.. Keep reading..

My career has been dedicated to helping golfers of all sizes, shapes, and ability levels with their golf learning curve. It's safe to say I have seen near every problem across all skill levels. Does that mean I know it all? Yup it does. No.. it really doesn't.. it just means I am am a "well weathered golf coach" Interested in getting started? Click Here!

Consider these 3 things 👇

  1. Always wanted that straight left (lead) arm? CONSIDER keeping your elbows together and your trail arm longer, or more away from your chest. This advice is one of my very favorite cues to clean up the arm work, which in turn cleans up the control of the club face

  2. Ever get a funny wear mark on your golf grip? Many golfers struggle with their palm coming off of the grip at the top of the golf swing. It's a product of a few things but mainly lack of extension in the trail arm.. Because the arms so bent and the elbows are so wide, the trail wrist doesn't have the flexibility to stay connected to the grip. Losing your grip connection is losing your connection the club face, a big no-no!

  3. Low point control! Where is the bottom of your swing circle? In a perfect world the bottom of your swing arc is just in front of the golf ball (towards the target) to preface that I'm referring to when your ball is on the ground. Both the hinge of your wrists, and the weight shift are the two key players in where you club bottoms out. Keep the club hinged longer, and weight more towards the target to move your swing bottom in front of the ball
